This month has been great timing for both finishing the Mastery class and now Executive Leadership. You see, I have my own company that I started in 2013 and we now have 17 employees that is about to jump to 25 employees. I have found that I have struggled with the growth of things because it has taken me away from what I love which is pushing growth and creating the content and products for your company.
In my days in the military there was something that always confused me. There would be a Special Operations Marine Raider who for over 10 years would be the most amazing Raider in the command. I’m talking about the kind of guy that has movies and books constantly made in his likeness. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger has played this kind of guy in many movies. Silver Star with valor medals and many other awards. But after over a decade of serving his country and fighting wars on multiple battlefields he comes home to blow off some steam and gets a little too much off the path.
When addressing a topic such as mastery I have to reflect on the people I look to as individuals who have not just mastered their careers but have also mastered the art of overcoming adversity. However, when looking at it more in depth I feel there is no such thing as mastering anything with out having to persevere a good dose of adversity.
I had already started my YouTube Channel. I had already been a part of a Discovery network television show called Trailblazers. At the time I had 5 different businesses (now 7 working on my 8th). I had a good team and was really happy with the direction that things were heading. However,
