I used to not pay any attention to recovery. I would get done with a 12-mile ruck or run and just continue my day. I didn't know about foam rolling or stretching. That alone would have made my recovery time so much quicker! What people don't realize is that you don't get better when your training. You get better when your body is resting and recovering.
